Sustainability is many things. It is the means through which the rights of future generations are not violated by us today. It is the means through which cultural identities, heritages, and practices are understood, respected, and enabled into the future. It is the means by which our lives today are enriched through the cross section of these two posits.
This blog is focused primarily on the steps Worcester Academy is taking to change our use of materials in order to honor the rights of future generations, alleviate environmental degradation for current generations, and hopefully begin a conversation about the challenges and complexities of being sustainable according to the above assertions.
